New papers and stamps (mostly from Memory Trends) I don't have the new stamps from Cha yet- I'm excited to get them! The papers are a version of lined/school papers/grid papers with a twist. I'm excited to see how they go over as they are a fair bit different than our last few lines. You can find some more sneak peeks on Melissa's blog. I'm sure the other girls will have some up soon as well. They are ROCKIN' the new stuff. I mean good stuff!!!
I've also got a few new goodies over at Two Peas in the digi shop.
And well we need some digi layouts too don't we?
We also came home to a completely gutted bathroom after Christmas thanks to my parents! They got the wonderful idea to gut it for us and rip put all of the old outdated horrible floral wallpaper. They surprised us with a Christmas present of new cabinets, a mirror and all the fixtures. WOW. I was floored. My sister picked everything out with them so they knew I would like it. She's in interior design-phew. Good job sis! My dad did the rewiring/sanding/gyproc etc.. Then Tim and I took over when they left. We just finished it up last week. The cabinet doors aren't on in the photo as they are now and we hung another cabinet up above the toilet. We also added moulding to the door and a new handle. This was our first full room reno. and it was hard work but oh so rewarding when you finish and stand back say, " WE DID IT!!!" Thanks so much Mom and dad for your wonderful gift and all of your unending generosity! Love you.
AND... the biggest news!!! Kenzie is reading! It's like it all just clicked for her the other day and WHAM! she is off and running. I brought home a pile of books (18 of them to be exact!) from the Kindergarten the other day and she read almost all of them on the first go. Tim and I can barely believe it. It's pretty cool. She is eating it up too and asking for me to get more and more books everyday. Who can say no to that? At this rate she'll be like her Grandpa and never putting the books down. So freaking cool I say. Really and truly. That has been the highlight of the past month for us.
